In each film they all can relate to each other in one way. Overall in the films it displays a very old saying, "What's done in the Dark will come to the Light."

Unfaithful was released in 2002 and was adapted by Alvin Sargent and William Broyles Jr. from the French film The Unfaithful Wife (La Femme Infidele) by Claude Chabrol. In the film it displays a married couple living in the suburbs of New York City whose marriage takes a dangerous turn when the wife indulges in an adulterous fling with a stranger she met while trying to hail a taxi in Manhattan.


The movie Motives was a 2004 thriller release. The film displays a highly educated and successful business tycoon who is married to the quintessential wife. Everything is well until he engages in and adulterous fling with a free-spirited and exotic woman. During the time of the affair things in his personal life began to fall apart and already play a threat to his marriage and to add to it the affair he is having will also play a serious threat as well.




Fatal Attraction was released in 1987 and was directed by Adrian Lyne. The film displays a married man who has a weekend affair with his colleague, while his wife and child are out of town. The woman falls in love with him and refuses to allow the affair to end and becomes obsessed with him. She is determining to make him hers and if not possible then she wants no one to have him, not even his wife.


A Perfect Murder was released in 1998 and directed by Andrew Davis. The film is a remake of the 1954 Alfred Hitchcock film Dial M for Murder. The movie displays a wealthy husband who has just about everything and craves the love and fidelity of his wife. When he discovers her deceitfulness, he sets out to commit the perfect murder and inherit her substantial trust fund in the bargain. Although he thought he planned it well, things took a turn and he wasn’t expecting them to.


Indecent Proposal was released in 1993 and was directed by Adrian Lyne. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Jack Engelhard. In the movie the young couples is very much in love and have started their respective careers. The wife was an estate broker and the husband was an architect. All their dreams seem to be falling in place. When the recession hits they face the possibility of losing everything, on a trip to Vegas to try and win money they run into a millionaire. He offers them a million dollars for night with the wife. Although they agreed because of their financial situation, it does lead to potentially destroying their marriage.

The Rich Man's Wife



The Rich Man’s Wife was released in 1996 and was written and directed by Amy Holden Jones. The film displays the wife who is suspected to have murdered her husband and the investigating detectives are suspicious of her alibi. The wife finds out that she has a bad prenuptial agreement with a husband that is even worse. While drinking with a stranger, she fantasizes about killing her husband to void the prenuptial agree. When events start to take place, things turn for the worse and little did anyone know she and another woman get away with the perfect crime.


The Family that Preys was released in 2008 and was written, produced and directed by Tyler Perry. The film focuses on two families, one wealthy and the other working class, whose lives are intertwined in both love and business. Chris the husband of Andrea assumes that his marriage is in perfect standing. Little did he know his wife was being deceitful and lying to him the whole time they were married. In the unfortunate events that unfold, plenty of lies are revealed.

The film was released in 1999, directed by Bruce Beresford and starring Tommy Lee Jones and Ashley Judd. It’s about a woman who is framed for the murder of her husband. However when investigation started she learned that her husband was in financial trouble and had a two million dollar insurance policy on himself the whole time. Upon her release from prison she is on a mission to find her son and her husband who is not dead.
